What to include

Reporting an error

This is the message we most want to receive. Include the page URL, the specific sentence or figure that is wrong, and, if you can, what it should say. Substantive corrections are made promptly and noted on the page.

Reporting a data problem

If a scanner shows a figure that looks wrong (a price, an RSI, a yield), tell us the tool, the symbol and the as-of date shown on the page. The data comes from public sources and is recomputed daily; source errors usually clear on the next refresh, and computation errors we fix in the code.

Suggesting a topic

Tell us the question you were trying to answer and what you could not find a good explanation of. The gaps readers describe are the best guide to what to write next.

Press and permissions

Short quotations with attribution and a link need no permission. For republication, translation or use in teaching materials, email us and describe what you have in mind.

What we cannot help with
